The means justify the ends

The means justify the ends

One of the phrases by my father during church service today that really stood out for me is this: “when you move through life too fast, you will cut corners and lower standards that could compromise the future.” Reverend Olusola Areogun.

What is the haste all about?

The process we go through is what shapes us!

I think it’s healthy to often remind ourselves that we are not in competition with anyone.

Like, seriously, it’s your life that you and you alone would account for someday.

My father would always say, “first, get it right, then get better at it. The future does not reward a man for doing it fast, but for doing it right.”

The end does not justify the means; the process and journey do.

Walk your road, take your time, it’s all yours!
