The narrow path is tough to tow. I recently confronted a situation where I faced a tough detour walking the narrow alley. I was shocked at myself, at the kind of thoughts that streamed through my mind, but I thank God for my sure radar, which took my hand and helped me cross that path – my CHASIS!
We can’t predict the circumstances that life will throw at us as we journey on this earth, but we must know what our options are and those fine lines that we must never contemplate.
I have come to learn that we can’t walk the narrow path alone; it’s lonely, dreadful, and less desirable, with dark alleys here and there, maybe even potholes. We need our CHASIS to navigate the narrow path safely.
Comforter – to comfort us when some avenues make us cry.
Helper – to help us stay on track.
Advocate – to speak the right words to our conscience and help us see clearly, hard lines that we must never cross, when our visions get blurry.
Standby – A sure guide when we get to some crossroads that look confusing.
Intercessor – interceding on our behalf when we can’t find our voice to pray and deliver our hearts and hands from falling into temptation.
Strengthener – to keep our knees from baulking when we burn out with fatigue
How blessed you are if you have your CHASIS – the Holy Spirit!
And when you find it, don’t attempt to walk the narrow alley alone; go with your CHASIS!
Journeying with my CHASIS, my anchor. Thanks for this soothing reminder.
We really can’t go far without Him. Thanks, sis Tobi.
