One of the projects for which I was responsible for communications during my time at Oxfam Novib between October 2022 till April 2024 was the African Activists for Climate Justice (AACJ) project, a multi-country initiative that empowered climate activists in Senegal, Somalia, Mozambique, Burkina Faso, Nigeria, South Africa, and the Pan Africa Program in Kenya and the Netherlands.
I developed and implemented communication strategies, managed the project’s digital platform Power to Voices, created compelling stories to enhance visibility and mobilize solidarity, supported advocacy campaigns, fostered partnerships with stakeholders, mobilized resources, and monitored and evaluated communication outcomes.
